We believe we need to build a capital base that will ensure we are able to offer a high quality Christian education to generations of children to come. This has led us to establish the Auckland Christian Schools Endowment Trust to enable us to build up a capital fund which can be used to support the work of Manukau Christian School for decades to come. We believe we need to do this because, before we know it, the current pupils of the School will themselves have children of their own, and will be looking for a good school for their children. 

 

The Endowment Trust is registered with the Charities Commission as a charity. It is a tax-exempt institution, so that all donations are tax-exempt, without limitation. The Trust Deed requires that the capital of the Trust be preserved and maintained indefinitely, but that income earned from the capital can be used to support the work and operations of Manukau Christian School. 

 

Our long term aim is that we will be able to offer high quality education without having to charge higher and higher fees. Eventually, as the Lord blesses the Endowment Trust, we wish to be able to provide a fee subsidy to every family.
