Trustboard

Manukau Christian School is run by the Auckland Christian Schools Trust (ACST).   The trust is registered with the Charities Commission as a charitable trust.  Donations to the ACST are tax-exempt.  You can find more information about the ACST at the Charities Commission website, clicking on the link here.

This ACST board is an independent board that meets quarterly.   Membership on the Trust Board is by way of invitation as vacancies arise.  All trustees must annually re-sign a statement of belief which expresses their commitment to the Christian faith. a coyp of hte Statement of Faith is available by clicking here. 

The Board is responsible for the overall direction and financial running of the school.  They are also responsible for the employment of staff, on the Principal's recommendation.

A close relationship exists between the Trust Board and Staff.  The Trust Board is also encouraging of the Principal’s on-going fellowship with other Christian schools in the Auckland region.
