Manukau Christian School is an independent Year 1–13 school in South Auckland. We welcome families from a range of backgrounds and provide a knowledge-rich, character-forming education grounded in a Reformed Christian worldview.

We take seriously Jesus’ call to love the Lord with all our mind. We teach the academically rigorous, internationally recognised Cambridge curriculum in a joyful, teacher-directed environment. Our small high school allows teachers to know their students well and help them develop both character and competence.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable teacher to join our junior high school team, teaching students in Years 7–9. This position would suit a primary-trained teacher who enjoys teaching intermediate-aged students and is confident teaching across a range of subjects, or a secondary-trained teacher with a particular interest in the junior years.

Strength in mathematics or history would be an advantage. Please state your subject strengths and other areas of interest in your application.

The successful candidate will share our commitment to Christian education, have high expectations for students, and bring a positive attitude and a willingness to embrace the school’s culture and approach to teaching.
