Manukau Christian School is a unique independent Year 1 to 13 school situated in South Auckland. Attended by eager students and supportive families, we aim to develop courageous disciples of Christ who are equipped with a knowledge-rich, character-forming education. Taking seriously Christ’s injunction to love the Lord our God with all our mind, we employ the internationally recognised Cambridge curriculum to give all our students a broad and deep knowledge base. In 2022 our school achieved the top rates of University Entrance in New Zealand. We embrace a joyful and traditional approach to learning that is teacher-directed. With waiting-lists for classes throughout the school, and enviable results, we are producing young people of character and competence. We are seeking a driven teacher who is excited about enabling students to achieve top academic results. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach students from Year 7 to 9. BTs are welcome and will be supported by an experienced team of teachers. Experience working with the Cambridge curriculum is not required. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will depend on an applicant's qualifications and experience. Base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
